Antonis Tritsis Environmental Education & Sensitization Park
The "A. Tritsis" Environmental Education & Sensitization Park is one of the last refugees of wildlife in the Athens urban environment. The lakes are the predominant element of the landscape, surrounded by various types of fauna.
For organized groups of visitors ecotours are organized in the Park (eng/fr/sp).
Bird watching, volunteer work and planting are included in the ecotours.
As most of Attica's wetlands have shrunk or disappeared over the past years, the Park's ponds attract those birds that need water (aquatic, wading, shorebirds, birds of reed beds, etc).
